Padded Weapons Camps
(Rising 2nd
graders and up)
|
|
Padded
Weapons Camp returns as one of our most popular
camps ever! Each day students learn about a
different type of weapon, watch videos and
movies that feature that style of weapon, then
design and create their own version. Students
use pvc piping covered with a thick layer of
foam to build SAFE and unique padded weapons.
After being checked for safety, students then
learn to spar using their newly constructed
weapon. At the end o f the week students will
have created at least 5 different weapons that
they mix and match for a grand "Battle Royale".
Parents are invited to see what their children
have learned on Friday afternoon. No martial
arts skills necessary (Children who are not
Cuong Nhu students may participate). |
